FAQ

What happens when I get a response from a prospect?
When you get a response from the campaign coming back into your inbox, it is your responsibility to take over the conversation with the prospect. LinkedHacker does not reply on your behalf.

Do I need to stop a prospect who responds from getting further follow-up?
No, you don’t need to do anything. Quickmail detects replies in your inbox and removes any prospect who has replied from further follow-up.

What about OOO replies?
Quickmail detects OOO replies and automatically re-enters this prospect into your email sequence 14 days later. The assumption is that if they are on holiday, this allows them enough time to return and catch up on their inbox before receiving a second-touch email if they haven't taken action. It's also assumed that if the email is no longer monitored then it doesn't really matter if they are sent a follow-up - but if you receive an alternative email address for someone who has left the company that you'd like to engage with, we can either add them to the sequence or you can reach out to them organically. Here also, we may want to be mindful of long-term leave, such as a sabbatical or maternity leave. In this case, if you forward your campaign manager the email, they can stop them in the sequence to ensure they don't return to the follow-up emails.

A prospect has asked to be removed from my list
If someone has replied to your email and asked to be removed from a mailing list, you will need to go into your prospect sheet and delete them. This is optional, but it helps you keep your mailing list clean in case you decide to reuse it in the future.

Why are some of my prospects red and some black?
Your new prospects are always in red at the bottom of your list. Prospects in black are from previous weeks. If you’re checking the list, you only need to check and edit the prospects in red.

I can see irrelevant people on my list.
We expect up to 5% of your list may be irrelevant, and we can’t control this. It’s important to note that prospects may have multiple job titles, and therefore although they may look irrelevant, they still fall within your criteria.Pausing / Cancelling

How can I pause or cancel my campaign?
We require only 7 days' notice to pause or cancel a campaign. If you wish to pause your campaign we charge £5 a week to keep the campaign running and allow follow-up emails to be sent. If you would like to pause or cancel, simply email your campaign manager.

Do I need to do anything with bounces?
No, you can simply mark them as read in your inbox. Quickmail detects any bounces and removes these emails from any follow-ups.

When will I receive my email copy?
You’ll receive your email copy within 48-72 hours after you’ve received your introductory email from your campaign manager.

I don’t like my email copy
Your email copy has been written based on our experience of working on over 2000 cold email campaigns. We ask that you trust our experience. If you would like to add your own copy to run alongside ours, we are happy for you to do this.

Why do we A/B test?
We run A/B tests for your campaign so we can test different hooks and lead magnets. After a couple of weeks, we can assess the results and champion the copy that is working best.

What’s spintax?
Spintax is something we use in our email copies to ensure there is variation in the email that is being sent. This helps keep your email deliverability high, ensuring we maximise your campaign performance.

Why have I not had 10 leads in week one?
Our email campaigns (like all marketing campaigns) take time to build momentum. We expect you to start generating leads once you have first touch, second touch and final touch emails consistently going out Monday - Friday. This occurs in week 3 of your campaign, and on average weeks 3-6 are where we start to see 10 leads.
